Elektro Schmidt GmbH was founded in 1972 by master electrician Karl Schmidt in Munich. Starting as a small family business with just 3 employees, the company steadily grew through word-of-mouth recommendations. In 1998, Karl's son Thomas took over the business after completing his Meister qualification and expanded the company's service portfolio. Today, it operates as a well-established medium-sized electrical contractor with a solidified reputation in southern Bavaria.

Workshop

The main workshop of Elektro Schmidt GmbH is a bright, well-organized 300 square meter facility on the outskirts of Munich. The space features dedicated zones for different types of work, including a clean assembly area for sensitive components, a cable preparation station with professional cutting and stripping machines, and a secure tool storage room with charging stations for battery-powered equipment. A separate office area houses the planning department where three technicians work on CAD systems for project design. The workshop walls display various certifications and completed project photos, while a small kitchen and break area allow staff to take their mandatory breaks in compliance with German labor regulations.
