Markus Weber

Markus joined Elektro Schmidt 22 years ago after completing his journeyman qualification with another Munich electrical contractor. He earned his Meister certification while working at the company, with Thomas Schmidt mentoring him personally. He now oversees the company's largest commercial projects.

The most satisfying part of this job is seeing a complex system come together after weeks of planning and installation. There's nothing quite like flipping that switch and watching everything power up exactly as designed.

Physical Condition

In good physical condition overall, though he suffers from occasional joint pain in his knees when climbing ladders. Stays fit by cycling to work whenever weather permits.

Favorite Place

Markus finds the most satisfaction in the company's planning room, with its large drafting tables and multiple monitors displaying CAD systems. The room has a sense of purpose with project timelines posted on the walls and technical reference materials neatly organized on shelves. Here he can use his experience to solve complex technical challenges and mentor younger staff members through difficult installations.
