About the company

Founded in 1978 by master painter Helmut Lauer in a small garage in Munich, Lauer Fahrzeuglackierung has grown into a respected mid-sized family business. Following Helmut's retirement in 2007, his son Klaus Lauer, also a certified Meister, took over operations. The company expanded in 2012, moving to a larger facility and adding specialized services. Today, it operates as a GmbH (limited liability company) with Klaus as managing director and his sister Petra handling administrative operations.

Quality craftsmanship has been our foundation since my father started this business. We believe in transparency with customers, showing them exactly what work has been performed and why. Environmental responsibility is integral to our operation - we've invested heavily in filtration systems that exceed regulatory requirements and were early adopters of water-based paints. Regarding work safety, we're meticulous about proper protective equipment and ventilation. Every employee undergoes quarterly safety training and daily equipment checks are mandatory. Workshop

Our 950-square-meter facility features three modern spray booths with advanced filtration and climate control systems, allowing us to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining optimal conditions for paint application. The preparation area is equipped with dedicated dust extraction systems and specialized lighting to ensure perfect surface preparation. We've designed the workflow to move vehicles efficiently from the initial assessment station through preparation and into the spray booths with minimal movement. Our mixing room contains computerized paint matching systems with spectrophotometer technology to achieve precise color matches. The finishing section includes specialized polishing stations with targeted lighting for quality control inspections.
