Lukas completed his apprenticeship at Lauer Fahrzeuglackierung just last year. He was initially attracted to the trade through his interest in custom cars and automotive culture. He has shown particular talent with new water-based paint systems and digital color matching technology.

I'm passionate about combining traditional craftsmanship with modern technology. The precision possible with today's tools and materials is amazing, but it still takes the human eye and hand to create truly exceptional results.

Physical Condition

No physical issues today. As the youngest full-time painter, Lukas is in excellent physical condition and often handles the more physically demanding tasks.

Favorite Place

Lukas is most comfortable in the spray booth with its state-of-the-art ventilation and lighting systems. He appreciates the almost clinical environment where he can focus entirely on his technique without distractions. The booth represents the perfect blend of traditional craftsmanship and modern technology that drew him to the profession, with its computerized climate controls alongside the fundamentally unchanged process of applying atomized paint with skill and precision.
