Fischer Elektrotechnik GmbH & Co. KG
Hamburg
About the company
Fischer Elektrotechnik was founded in 1985 by master electrician Dieter Fischer in Hamburg. The company started as a small family operation and gradually expanded through strategic partnerships with local construction companies. In 2001, the business was restructured as a GmbH & Co. KG, bringing in two limited partners to provide additional investment capital. Dieter's daughter Claudia joined the management team in 2012 after completing her electrical engineering degree and Meister qualification, helping modernize operations and expand into renewable energy services.
Values
Fischer Elektrotechnik prides itself on combining traditional German craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology. Safety is our absolute priority, with a dedicated safety officer overseeing our comprehensive safety management system. All employees receive quarterly safety training, and we conduct daily toolbox talks before complex jobs. Our accident rate is consistently below industry averages, and we've received recognition from the professional association for our safety program. We maintain strict compliance with all regulations and often exceed minimum requirements. Our investment in safety equipment is substantial, including the highest quality PPE, regular tool inspections, and advanced safety technologies. We believe that a safe workplace is fundamentally linked to the quality of our installations and the wellbeing of our employees.
Workshop
The headquarters of Fischer Elektrotechnik features a modern 500 square meter workshop in an industrial park on the outskirts of Hamburg. The space is meticulously organized with dedicated zones for material preparation, assembly, testing, and quality control. A climate-controlled room houses sensitive electronic components and testing equipment. The facility includes four project planning offices equipped with the latest BIM software for complex installations. A separate training room is used for regular staff development and safety briefings. The warehouse section features automated inventory management with barcode scanning to track material usage by project. A fleet of 15 branded service vehicles is parked in the adjacent yard, each equipped with mobile workstations and organized tool systems.
