Dieter Krause

Dieter has been with Fischer Elektrotechnik since 1992 and formerly served as the lead foreman before transitioning to a consulting role as he approaches retirement. He completed his Meister qualification in 1989 and has extensive experience in all aspects of commercial and industrial electrical work. His knowledge of local building stock and electrical systems is unmatched, making him particularly valuable for renovation projects.

After all these years, I still find satisfaction in a properly executed installation that will serve reliably for decades. The best compliment is when another electrician opens a panel I wired years ago and comments on the quality of the work before they even know who did it.

Physical Condition

Dieter has significant joint degeneration in his knees and shoulders from decades in the trade, limiting his ability to work in physically demanding situations. He tires more quickly than in his younger years but manages his condition by focusing on consulting and inspection work rather than installation.

Favorite Place

Dieter's favorite place is the company's small technical library and conference area, which contains decades of technical manuals, standards documentation, and project archives. Here he conducts quality review sessions with project teams and offers his extensive knowledge to solve challenging technical problems. With comfortable seating, good lighting, and walls lined with the accumulated knowledge of the electrical trade, this space allows him to continue making valuable contributions despite his physical limitations. He takes particular satisfaction in using this space to transfer his knowledge to the next generation of electricians.
