Klaus Wagner
Klaus came to carpentry after five years in the German military. He completed his apprenticeship in his late twenties and has worked primarily in on-site installation throughout his career. He joined Holzbau Müller fifteen years ago, attracted by the company's reputation for quality work and traditional values.
Experience: Extensive practical experience particularly in on-site installation (8/10)
Favorite Jobs
- Timber frame raising
- Roof construction
- Leading installation teams
There's no substitute for experience when you're fifty feet up setting a ridge beam. I take pride in running efficient, safe installation sites where every timber fits perfectly the first time, just as it should.
Physical Condition
Klaus suffers from chronic back pain resulting from a fall from scaffolding five years ago. Today he is particularly tired after a demanding installation yesterday, and his lower back is giving him significant discomfort, limiting his ability to lift heavy components.
Favorite Place
Klaus feels most at home on active construction sites, particularly at the moment when a timber frame is completely erected but not yet enclosed. He appreciates the temporary sense of openness combined with the definitive structure. On company premises, he prefers the loading dock area where completed components are prepared for transport to sites, as this transitional space represents the bridge between workshop precision and field execution.
