Thomas Müller

Thomas is the son of company founder Wolfgang Müller and took over the business in 2010. After completing his carpentry apprenticeship, he worked for five years in various carpentry companies across Germany and Switzerland before returning to Stuttgart to earn his Master Craftsman qualification and eventually join the family business.

What makes our work special is the knowledge that our structures will stand for generations. I feel connected to both my father's legacy and the ancient tradition of timber craftsmanship every time I complete a traditional joint without using a single nail.

Physical Condition

Despite being in excellent shape for his age and taking pride in maintaining his strength, Thomas occasionally experiences lower back pain from years of physical work. Today he feels fine and energetic after a good night's sleep.

Favorite Place

Thomas loves the old timber frame workshop section that has remained largely unchanged since his father's time. The smell of wood shavings and the marks on the old workbenches tell the story of decades of craftsmanship. He often comes here early in the morning before anyone else arrives to plan the day's work and enjoy the silence broken only by the familiar creaking of the timber building.
