Stefan Huber
Stefan initially trained as a retail salesperson but found the work unfulfilling. He decided to switch careers and pursue carpentry after helping a friend renovate his house. Despite starting his apprenticeship later than most, he has shown exceptional aptitude for the trade, particularly in mathematical calculations and spatial visualization.
Experience: Advanced apprentice nearing journeyman qualification (2/10)
Favorite Jobs
- Engineered wood installation
- CAD drafting assistance
- Precision cutting
Coming to carpentry as a career-changer has made me appreciate the depth of knowledge involved in this trade. What looks simple to outsiders is actually a complex integration of structural engineering, material science, and craftsmanship that I find endlessly fascinating.
Physical Condition
Stefan is in good physical condition but occasionally suffers from headaches during periods of intensive concentration. Today he is feeling completely healthy and energetic, with no physical limitations affecting his work performance.
Favorite Place
Stefan particularly enjoys the company's cutting station where precision measurements translate into finished components. He appreciates the combination of modern laser measurement tools with traditional marking techniques. The station's excellent lighting and purpose-built supports for various timber sizes create an efficient workflow. He has added several of his own jigs and measuring shortcuts that have been adopted by other team members.
