Markus Bauhaas

As the son of founder Heinrich Bauhaas, Markus grew up around construction sites and developed a passion for the industry from an early age. After completing his civil engineering degree at Technical University of Munich, he worked for five years at a large construction firm in Hamburg before returning to join the family business in 1998, eventually taking over leadership from his father in 2005.

Physical Condition

Generally healthy though occasionally experiences mild back pain from old rugby injury. Today he is feeling energetic after his morning swim routine.

Favorite Place

Markus loves spending time at Lake Starnberg, about 30 minutes outside of Munich. The peaceful Alpine water view helps him clear his mind after stressful project weeks. He often takes his family there on weekends, combining sailing in summer months with lakeside walks when it's colder.
