Favorite Jobs
- Complex architectural concrete pours
- Exposed concrete finishing
- Advanced formwork systems
Concrete might seem simple to outsiders, but achieving perfect results requires understanding it almost like a living material. The temperature, humidity, mix design - everything must be right, especially on architectural concrete where there's nowhere to hide mistakes.
Physical Condition
Suffering from shoulder strain from repetitive movement and heavy lifting on yesterday's project. Today he is experiencing shooting pain when reaching overhead.
Favorite Place
Alexei finds special meaning in Olympiapark, built for the 1972 Munich Olympics. The innovative concrete structures by architect Frei Otto represent what he considers the highest art form in his trade. He regularly visits to carefully study how these pioneering concrete shells have weathered over five decades. The nearby Ukrainian church also provides him a connection to his homeland, making this area a perfect combination of professional inspiration and personal comfort.
