Fatima completed her civil engineering degree in Istanbul before moving to Germany for her master's degree at RWTH Aachen. She worked for a structural engineering consultancy in Cologne for four years before joining Bauhaas GmbH five years ago, where she has specialized in complex renovation projects requiring careful structural analysis.

Favorite Place

Fatima loves the Isar riverbanks near the Deutsches Museum. The combination of urban architecture and natural river landscape reminds her of places in her hometown Istanbul where city and nature intersect. She often brings her engineering sketches here on pleasant days, finding the flowing water helps her think through complex structural problems. The bridges spanning the river also inspire her as examples of different engineering approaches across different eras.
