After receiving his master craftsman certification, he joined Bauhaas GmbH 15 years ago and now supervises all woodworking aspects of projects while training apprentices.

Favorite Place

Dieter's favorite place is the alpine forest near Garmisch-Partenkirchen. As a carpenter, he feels a deep connection to these woods where some of Bavaria's finest timber grows. He visits several times a year, often hiking to remote spots where he can study the natural growth patterns of centuries-old trees. The mountain air and connection to the source of his craft materials gives him a sense of professional continuity that spans generations.
