Favorite Jobs
- Creating custom finish samples
- Spray finishing
- Color matching
- Developing new finishing processes
The finish is what the client touches every day – it's the interface between the user and the piece. I believe a perfect finish should enhance the wood's natural beauty while providing the protection and tactile quality that makes a piece inviting to interact with.
Physical Condition
Markus is in good physical condition but is currently tired from working overtime on an urgent project. The long hours standing in the spray booth have left him with fatigue in his legs and mild respiratory irritation despite using protective equipment.
Favorite Place
The finishing room is where I feel most at home, especially early in the morning when the light is perfect for evaluating surfaces. The spray booth with its controlled environment allows me to achieve finishes of exceptional quality. I've organized this space meticulously, with samples of past projects lining the walls to provide inspiration and references for clients.
