Jürgen began his career as a general cabinetmaker before developing a specialization in traditional finishing techniques. Prior to joining Holzkunst Müller, he worked at a piano manufacturer applying finishes to concert grand pianos. He joined the company 15 years ago, bringing his exceptional knowledge of oils, shellacs, and traditional European finishing methods.

Physical Condition

Jürgen suffers from chronic lower back pain due to decades of bending over workpieces and has developed some respiratory sensitivity from long-term exposure to finishing products despite safety precautions. Today he's particularly tired after a weekend spent helping his son move to a new apartment.

Favorite Place

Jürgen's domain is the separate finishing room with its specialized ventilation system and carefully controlled temperature and humidity. This clean, well-organized space contains his collection of handmade application tools, including brushes he's maintained for decades. The room's separation from the dusty workshop and northern exposure with filtered natural light creates ideal conditions for his detailed color matching and finish application work.
