Klaus Müller

Klaus founded Heizung & Sanitär Müller & Sohn in 1992 after working for other companies for 15 years. He comes from a working-class family in Dortmund and completed his apprenticeship and Meister qualification in the 1970s. Though technically semi-retired, he still comes in most days to oversee operations and maintain relationships with long-term clients.

Experiencing significant joint degeneration in knees and hands from decades of physical labor. Today his hands are particularly stiff after a cold night, but he refuses to complain and continues working despite the discomfort.

Favorite Place

Klaus's favorite place is the customer reception area where he can greet clients he's known for decades over a cup of coffee. He has a comfortable old chair there that everyone knows is 'Klaus's spot'. The walls around it display photos of major projects from throughout the company's history, and he enjoys telling stories about each one to new customers and apprentices alike.
