David Wagner
David joined Müller & Sohn eight months ago after briefly studying engineering at university and deciding he preferred hands-on work to theoretical studies. He is the newest member of the team and is eager to learn all aspects of the trade. David's technical background helps him understand the principles quickly, though he's still developing practical skills.
Experience: First-year apprentice still learning the basics (0/10)
Favorite Jobs
- Assisting with underfloor heating installations
- Learning about control systems
- Observing complex repairs
The transition from university to apprenticeship was humbling but rewarding. I love seeing the direct results of my work rather than just solving problems on paper. There's so much more to learn from these experienced craftsmen than I ever expected.
Physical Condition
Good physical condition, though unaccustomed to the physical demands of the job. Today he's extremely tired after spending yesterday helping on a difficult installation that required working in a cramped attic space for hours.
Favorite Place
David's favorite place is the vocational school workshop where he attends classes twice a week as part of his apprenticeship program. The modern facility with state-of-the-art equipment allows him to practice techniques in a controlled environment before applying them on actual job sites. He particularly values the opportunity to make mistakes and learn from them without the pressure of customer expectations.
