Leon Hoffmann

Leon is halfway through his 3.5-year apprenticeship program. He chose to pursue a trade rather than university after completing his Realschule education. Leon was always mechanically inclined and helped his uncle with DIY projects growing up, which sparked his interest in becoming an HVAC technician.

I'm enjoying learning something new every day. The combination of practical work and theory at the vocational school gives me a solid foundation. I especially like when Thomas takes the time to explain why we do things a certain way.

Physical Condition

Good overall condition, though occasionally tired from balancing work and studies. Today he's feeling sore in his shoulders after carrying heavy pipes up three flights of stairs yesterday on a job site.

Favorite Place

Leon's favorite place is the van on the way to job sites where he gets to sit with the more experienced technicians. This is where he learns the unwritten rules of the trade, picks up practical tips not taught in vocational school, and hears stories about challenging projects. These morning drives have become valuable mentoring sessions that he looks forward to each day.
