Jürgen Hoffmann

Jürgen completed his apprenticeship in 1979 and worked for several companies before joining Klima-Tech Schmidt in 1993. He has overseen most of the company's major commercial installations for the past two decades. Despite being eligible for retirement, he continues working because he enjoys mentoring younger staff.

Experiencing significant back pain from degenerative disc disease after four decades in the physical aspects of the trade. Today is particularly difficult for him after helping move equipment yesterday, and he's struggling to stand straight.

Favorite Place

Jürgen loves the old technical museum in Munich where he volunteers as a guide on weekends, explaining the historical heating and cooling systems to visitors. The museum's collection of early 20th century boilers and ventilation systems fascinates him, and he enjoys connecting the evolution of technology to modern systems. He finds talking about the craftsmanship of earlier generations deeply satisfying and a way to preserve technical heritage.
