Thomas has significant knee joint degeneration from decades of kneeling during installations. He now primarily handles project management and client consultations to reduce physical strain.

Favorite Place

Thomas cherishes his family cabin on the Baltic Sea near Lübeck where he has spent summers since childhood. The rustic wooden structure sits just beyond the dunes with a view of the water and features a traditional wood-burning stove that he maintains meticulously. He finds profound satisfaction in the simplicity of the heating system compared to the complex HVAC systems he designs professionally. The sound of waves and the smell of salt air provide perfect relaxation after intense project work.
