Carlos learned framing in Mexico before moving to Arizona 20 years ago. He started with Elite Frame Masters in 2008 and has become one of their most skilled craftsmen. His expertise in both traditional and modern framing techniques makes him invaluable for training new workers.

Every frame tells a story, and the quality of your work will be speaking long after you've left the site. That's why I always tell my apprentices to treat every cut and every nail as if they were building their own home.

Physical Condition

Dealing with some joint degeneration in knees from years of climbing and lifting. Uses knee braces during heavy work days.

Favorite Place

Carlos's favorite place is the company's pre-assembly area in the workshop. The controlled environment allows him to focus on precision work and teaching proper techniques to newer workers. He's set up his own specialized jig system here that has become the standard for the company's wall panel assembly process.
