Thomas Schmidt
Thomas joined Elektrotechnik Müller in 2009 after working for several years at a large industrial electrical contractor. He was looking for a more personal work environment with varied projects rather than specializing in just industrial systems. Thomas has become Werner's right-hand man and oversees projects when Werner is busy with other aspects of the business.
Experience: Highly experienced journeyman with 17 years in the field (8/10)
Favorite Jobs
- Commercial electrical installations
- Panel upgrades
- Training apprentices
What I appreciate about working in a smaller company is the variety of challenges each day brings. I've done everything from rewiring century-old buildings to installing state-of-the-art automation systems for small businesses.
Physical Condition
Thomas is experiencing significant knee joint degeneration today, making it difficult for him to climb ladders or kneel for extended periods. He typically alternates between tasks that require different physical positions to manage the discomfort.
Favorite Place
Thomas finds peace at the Spree riverbank early in the morning before work. He often arrives 30 minutes early just to sit by the water with a coffee, watching the city wake up. The combination of flowing water, morning light, and the brief solitude helps him prepare mentally for the challenges of the workday ahead.
