Markus Schmidt

Markus completed his master carpenter qualification in 2008 and immediately founded Schmidt Innenausbau. He comes from a family with a long tradition in woodworking, with his father and grandfather both having been carpenters in rural Brandenburg. After working for several larger firms in Berlin, he decided to pursue his vision of creating a company focused on high-quality custom work.

Physical Condition

Markus suffers from chronic lower back pain due to years of physical labor and improper lifting techniques in his earlier career. Today he's particularly tired after working late last night to complete design plans for an urgent project.

Favorite Place

Markus loves spending time in his personal workshop corner where he keeps traditional hand tools that belonged to his grandfather. This small area has a workbench with perfect natural light from a north-facing window. Here he can experiment with joinery techniques and work on small personal projects away from the pressures of business operations.
