Sophie Neumann

Sophie completed her apprenticeship through a vocational program in Leipzig and joined Elektrotechnik Müller five years ago. She was originally interested in engineering but discovered she preferred hands-on work over desk jobs. Sophie was one of only three women in her electrical apprenticeship class.

Sophie is in excellent physical condition with no chronic issues. She maintains her fitness through regular rock climbing, which has given her excellent grip strength and comfort working at heights.

Favorite Place

Sophie's favorite place is the climbing gym in central Leipzig where she goes three times a week after work. The vertical climbing walls with their colorful holds present her with physical puzzles that require both strength and strategy to solve. She enjoys the community of climbers there who share tips and encourage each other, creating a complete contrast to the precise and sometimes solitary nature of electrical work.
