Erik Wagner
Erik joined Elektro-Wolf as a journeyman electrician 22 years ago after working in industrial maintenance for a large manufacturing company. His extensive experience with preventative maintenance and quick troubleshooting made him the natural choice to develop and lead the company's maintenance division. Under his leadership, the department has grown from three to fifteen technicians and secured numerous long-term maintenance contracts.
Experience: Over 35 years in the electrical trade with specialized expertise in maintenance and troubleshooting (9/10)
Favorite Jobs
- Critical system troubleshooting
- Preventative maintenance program development
- Emergency repair coordination
Good maintenance is invisible – our best work prevents problems rather than fixing them. I've built my career on understanding how systems fail and creating processes that anticipate issues before they impact a client's operations.
Physical Condition
Erik suffers from moderate knee joint degeneration, making ladder work and kneeling increasingly difficult. He wears supportive braces on both knees and has adapted his work approach to minimize strain, often delegating physically demanding tasks to team members while focusing on diagnostics and coordination.
Favorite Place
Erik's favorite place is the diagnostic bench in Elektro-Wolf's maintenance workshop where he troubleshoots complex electrical components. The space features specialized testing equipment he's personally selected over the years, surrounded by reference materials and a digital database of repair histories he's meticulously maintained. He finds particular satisfaction in the methodical process of resurrection – taking failed components that others might discard and restoring them to perfect functionality through careful analysis and precise repair work.
