Song Min-ji

Min-ji entered the carpentry trade after completing a two-year program at Korea Polytechnic College. As one of the few women in the company's production team, she initially faced skepticism but has earned respect through her precision work and problem-solving abilities. She specifically sought out Hanyang Mokjae for its reputation in blending traditional and modern techniques.

Favorite Place

Min-ji's favorite place is the small workshop she has set up in her apartment's spare room. Here she creates miniature traditional Korean furniture pieces as a hobby and side business, selling them through an online craft marketplace. She has carefully organized the space with hand tools inherited from her grandfather who was also a woodworker. The concentration required for the intricate miniature work provides a meditative counterbalance to the larger-scale projects she handles at work, and allows her to explore artistic expression alongside functional craftsmanship.
