Choi Seo-yeon
Choi trained at a vocational high school in Busan specializing in construction trades. Initially facing skepticism as one of few women in the field, she proved herself through exceptional precision and attention to detail. She joined Dongbu Framing Services four years ago after working for several residential contractors.
Experience: Mid-level carpenter with strong technical knowledge (5/10)
Favorite Jobs
- Insulated framing systems
- Residential wood framing
- Precision measuring and layout
Wood framing is as much about geometry and physics as it is about strength. I take pride in creating perfectly square and level structures that will provide a solid foundation for everything that follows in the construction process.
Physical Condition
Choi is in excellent physical shape, practicing yoga three times weekly to maintain flexibility essential for the job. Today she is well-rested and operating at peak efficiency, showing no signs of physical limitations.
Favorite Place
Choi's favorite place is the blueprint review area in the Dongbu workshop where she enjoys the intellectual challenge of interpreting architectural plans. The clean workspace with bright lighting and large tables allows her to spread out drawings and visualize the three-dimensional structures before construction begins. She often arrives early to spend quiet time here planning complex framing sequences before the day's noise and activity begin.
